Our Line
The Georges Creek Division will be restoring service on 13 miles of track between Borden Shaft, MD and Westernport, MD. It is strategically located to meet the rail transportation needs of Western Maryland. Our railroad provides easy access to both Route 135 and Interstate 68 for those looking to ship from areas beyond our line. The local municipalities and towns we serve include Midland, Lonaconing, Moscow, Barton, and Westernport. We highly value our interchange with CSX Transportation at Westernport, which links us to the national rail network. TransloaD Locations
Our transload locations will allow almost anyone to economically load or unload anywhere from a single railcar to a recurring continuous volume of cars. With transload facilities in Barton and Ridgeley, WV (WMSR Cumberland Division), we have the infrastructure to handle rail-shipped commodities for businesses without direct rail access.
